Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region Health Department is encouraging parents and caregivers of school-aged children to book an optometrist appointment for their child for an eye examination and emphasizes the importance of eye examinations for all young children.

Electric vehicle charging infrastructure expands across the region

Whitby, Ontario – Electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are becoming more commonplace throughout Durham Region. Today’s announcement of $2.4 million in federal funding from Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) will enable the installation of 259 new EV charging stations across Durham Region.
