The Regional Municipality of Durham has constructed a new trunk sanitary sewer on Townline Road North (Regional Road 55) from Beatrice Street East to Coldstream Drive, a new local sanitary sewer from 418m north of Beatrice Street East to Taunton Road (Regional Road 4) and new storm sewer, local watermain and road reconstruction on Townline Road North from Taunton Road to Coldstream Drive, in the City of Oshawa/ Municipality of Clarington.
The work generally consisted of reconstruction for:

A 750mm RCP, 1800mm/1350mm CPP Trunk Sanitary Sewer on Townline Road from the intersection of Beatrice Street East to Coldstream Drive;

Construction of a 200mm/300mm PVC Sanitary Sewer on Townline Road from 418m North of Beatrice Street East to Taunton Road;

Construction of 300mm PVC Storm Sewer on Townline Road at Taunton Road and construction of a 300mm PVC Watermain on Townline Road from 375m South of Coldstream Drive to Coldstream Drive,

Road construction on Townline Road from Taunton Road to Coldstream Drive.
We thank you for you patience and understanding during the project and significant construction activities as we worked to improve the Municipal Infrastructure within the area.
Although the major construction works are completed, the contractor will still be intermittently in the area to complete final finishing works and deficiencies. Traffic disruptions and lane restrictions should be anticipated.
