Earlier this year, the Region of Durham installed a hardened centre line on Old Brock Road at the intersection of Brock Road in the City of Pickering as part of a pilot project to guide northbound left-turn movements from Brock Road into the receiving lane. Red light cameras have been installed at select locations throughout Durham Region to reduce T-bone collisions at intersections on Durham Regional roads.
