Durham District School Board students learn about agricultural science and farming in Durham Region

Yesterday, more than 300 Durham District School Board high school students attended the Durham Farm Connections agri-science education day, held at Brooklin High School.
The agriculture education program is designed to align with curriculum requirements for Grade 9 and 10 science, Grade 11 biology and environmental science, and Grade 12 biology. Reminder: Outdoor water restrictions during Port Perry water tower work

The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents and businesses that mandatory water restrictions on all non-essential outdoor water use, will be in effect from September 5 to November 20 for municipal water supply users in Port Perry, within the Township of Scugog.
