That’s why I support the enhanced public health measures announced by the Chief Medical Officer of Health, ordering all dine-in restaurants, bars, nightclubs, theatres, churches, private schools and daycares close today, March 17, 2020. “As concerns grow about COVID-19, we want to reassure residents that the risk in Durham Region remains low. That said, the Region of Durham is working around the clock to prepare for and respond to COVID-19 in our community.
