Extended heat warning terminated

Whitby, Ontario - The Health Department is advising Durham Region residents that the extended heat warning issued August 28 is now terminated. The Health Department will continue to monitor information received from Environment Canada and will provide updates, as necessary, to area residents.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham would like to advise residents that test results from an ambient air monitoring station at the Courtice Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) measured an exceedance for dioxins and furans on May 26.
