Health Department declares COVID-19 outbreak at Supercuts in Pickering

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region Health Department has declared a COVID-19 outbreak at Supercuts, 570 Kingston Road, Pickering. Anyone who received service at this location between March 18 and 21 is being advised of a potential high-risk of exposure to COVID-19. All patrons who attended Supercuts during this time-period must self-isolate for 14 days from the last day they were at this location and seek COVID-19 testing as soon as possible.

Whitby, Ontario – Regional Council has unanimously endorsed the Corporate Climate Action Plan and approved targets to reduce corporate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 100 per cent by 2045.

Whitby, Ontario - Durham Region Health Department is announcing that COVID-19 vaccination clinics in Ajax and communities in north Durham will be opening within the next two weeks. Whitby, Ontario – Today, Township of Brock Mayor John Grant completed his Declaration of Office and was sworn in as a member of Durham Regional Council.
The vacancy occurred after the passing of Brock Township Mayor and Regional Councillor Debbie Bath-Hadden. Earlier this week, Brock Township Council appointed Grant to the role of Mayor for the remainder of the 2018 to 2022 term. He was the runner up in the 2018 election and previously served as mayor from 2014 to 2018.
