Reuse Days are back with special events starting on March 20

Whitby, Ontario – Spring cleaning is around the corner. Do you have good quality items that you want to donate? Durham Region is accepting good quality, reusable items at the first Reuse Day event of 2021. Items will be donated to Diabetes Canada and the Salvation Army Thrift Store.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Salem Road (Regional Road 41) and Rossland Road East in the Town of Ajax.

Region launches process for considering Settlement Area boundary expansion requests

Whitby, Ontario – As part of Envision Durham’s Growth Management Study, the Region of Durham will be reviewing requests for Settlement Area boundary expansion.
When: New and/or amended requests for Settlement Area boundary expansion are now being accepted until May 31, 2021, as part of a 90-day submission window.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham wants to inform residents in the City of Pickering that as a result of the work Elexicon will be performing on electrical system upgrades power supply will temporarily shut-off for approximately two hours on both days.
