Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Brock Street East in the Township of Uxbridge.
When: June 29 to July 10. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Brock Street East, from 4th Avenue to just east of Nelkydd Lane, in the Township of Uxbridge.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham advises residents of lane restrictions on Concession Road 9 (Regional Road 5) in the City of Pickering.
When: July 6 until September 25. Unfavourable weather may influence the work schedule.
Where: Concession Road 9, from 160 metres east of Sideline 12 to 650 metres west of Lake Ridge Road (Regional Road 23) in Pickering.
Why: Road rehabilitation.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of temporary lane restrictions on Thickson Road (Regional Road 26) in the Town of Whitby.
When: June 29 to 30. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Thickson Road, from Dundas Street East to William Stephenson Drive, in the Town of Whitby.
Why: To safely complete road repaving.
Note: Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on one half of the road. Drivers are asked to exercise caution...

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents and businesses in Newcastle and Newtonville that the mandatory water restrictions have now been lifted.
All Durham residents and businesses are reminded to continue practising water conservation methods by limiting all indoor and outdoor water use.
Examples of non-essential water use includes cleaning driveways or decks, washing cars and lawn watering.
