COVID-19 update in Durham Region

Whitby, Ontario – As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, the Region of Durham remains focused on the health and safety of residents. Residents are advised of the following service changes:

• All water and sewer bill late payment charges, collection notifications and water shut offs for non-payment have been suspended. The Region will also offer enhanced payment flexibility for customers unable to pay their water and sewer bill on time.

March 25 Regional Council meeting to be held electronically

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Regional Council will host a special meeting, on March 25, to permit electronic participation in both open and closed meetings. Lane Restrictions on Winchester Road in Brooklin

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents of lane restrictions on Winchester Road (Regional Road 3), in the Town of Whitby.

When: Ongoing until March 13. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Winchester Road, from Chelmsford Drive to Anderson Street (Regional Road 36).
