Donate household items at Reuse Days

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department is encouraging residents to drop off reusable items, free of charge, at Reuse Days. The items will be donated to Habitat for Humanity ReStores (Ajax, Oshawa and Uxbridge locations), Diabetes Canada and the Salvation Army Thrift Store.
When: Saturday, May 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Durham Region Waste Management Centre, 4600 Garrard Road, Whitby.

Whitby, Ontario – In appreciation of a continued community-wide commitment to the Regional organics collection programs, residents are invited to pick up compost, free of charge, at upcoming giveaway events in Scugog and Pickering.

Lane restrictions on Bayly Street in Ajax

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents of lane restrictions on Bayly Street (from the intersection of Westney Road to half a kilometre west of Westney Road) in Ajax.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents that construction on Mara Road (from south of Main Street to north of Franklin Street in Brock) will require lane restrictions and a six-week road closure.
