Construction to close Main Street in Orono

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents that construction will close Main Street (Regional Road 17) in the Municipality of Clarington (Village of Orono) in stages until November.

When:

• Stage one: Work begins the week of June 12. Main Street will be closed from Mill Street to Millson Hill Drive, for approximately 11 weeks, starting June 19.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents that roadway line painting is now underway, and drivers should exercise caution when approaching these vehicles.

When: Line painting season runs until October. Operations are typically underway on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. or overnight.
