Lane restrictions on Zephyr Road in Uxbridge

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents of lane restrictions on Zephyr Road (Regional Road 13), from east of Concession Road 5 to west of Concession Road 6, in Uxbridge.

When: Construction will begin this week and is expected to be complete by June 9. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Zephyr Road, from east of Concession Road 5 to west of Concession Road 6, in the Township of Uxbridge.

Bloor Street West in Oshawa to be closed for construction

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents and businesses that construction work will close Bloor Street West (Regional Road 22) from 50 metres west of Simcoe Street to 250 metres west of Simcoe Street, including the Highway 401 off-ramp, in Oshawa.

Region of Durham testing Public Alerting System

Whitby, Ontario – Residents and businesses are advised that the Region of Durham will be conducting its annual spring testing of the Public Alerting System within the 10-kilometre area around the Darlington and Pickering Nuclear Generating stations.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department, invites residents to drop off Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), free of charge, at a special upcoming collection event. At this event, residents can also pick up free compost.
