Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is proposing to reconstruct Wentworth Street (Regional Road 60), from Cedar Street to west of Farewell Street (Regional Road 56), in the City of Oshawa.
When and Where: The public information package with the project background and preliminary design can be reviewed at durham.ca/Wentworth. Comments are requested by August 17.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Sandy Beach Road in the City of Pickering.
When: July 17 to 19. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.
Where: Sandy Beach Road will be closed from the south entrance of the Bay Ridges Kinsmen Park parking lot to Parkham Crescent, with access to the park from Montgomery Park Road.

Whitby, Ontario – On August 1, the Emancipation Day Celebration in Durham Region returns at the Audley Recreation Centre in Ajax.
In recognition of Emancipation Day (August 1), the Region’s Emancipation 2023 Celebration Committee is hosting an Emancipation Day Celebration. This year’s theme is Liberation. Legacy. Progress.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Salem Road (Regional Road 41) in the Town of Ajax.
When: July 17 to 28. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Salem Road, from Mandrake Street to Achilles Road, in Ajax. Access to eastbound and westbound Highway 401 will be maintained during these restrictions.
