Drop off electronic or hazardous waste; pick up free compost in Brock

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department, invites residents to drop off Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and Municipal Hazardous or Special Waste (MHSW), free of charge, at a special upcoming collection event. At this event, residents can also pick up free compost.
When: Saturday, April 22, from 8 a.m. to noon.
Where: Rick MacLeish Memorial Community Centre, 91 Elliot Street, Cannington.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents that leaf and yard waste collection is starting back up in the townships of Brock, Scugog and Uxbridge, the City of Pickering, the Town of Ajax and the Municipality of Clarington.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to remind residents of changes to scheduled curbside waste collection due to the upcoming Easter holidays.
Where: Residents of Ajax, Brock, Clarington, Pickering, Scugog and Uxbridge who have Green Bin, Blue Box or garbage collection scheduled for Friday, April 14 (Good Friday) will have their waste collected on Saturday, April 15.
