Whitby, Ontario – The new Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) Clarington Police Complex has been named Project of the Year for 2016 by the Ontario Public Works Association (OPWA) in the Structures, $10 to $50 million category.

Whitby, Ontario – Today, at Regional Council, City of Oshawa Regional Councillor Doug Sanders completed his Declaration of Office and became a member of Durham Regional Council.
Councillor Sanders fills the vacancy left by the sudden passing of City of Oshawa Regional Councillor Nancy Diamond. Councillor Sanders was appointed to this role, by members of Oshawa City Council, during their March 20 meeting.

Whitby, Ontario – More than 1,000 Grade 3 students from across Durham Region attended Durham Farm Connections, a three-day educational program that meets Ontario curriculum requirements and provides students with the opportunity to be a farmer for a day, through interactive stations with local farmers.
