Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region Health Department will administer Moderna COVID-19 vaccine for first, second and third doses to individuals 30 and older beginning Dec. 29, until additional supply of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine is secured.

Regional Council approves 2022 water and sanitary sewer user rates

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Regional Council has approved the 2022 water supply and sanitary sewer user rates, with a combined increase of 1.8 per cent, an estimated annual increase of $19.52 per year for the average Durham Region household.
In addition to ongoing maintenance and operation of the water supply and sanitary sewerage systems, Durham Region has several major capital projects planned for 2022 including:

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region Health Department will be expanding eligibility for third doses of COVID-19 vaccine, as recently announced by the province. Beginning Dec. 20 at 8 a.m. Durham Region residents 18 and older are eligible to receive a third dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
