Lane restrictions on Simcoe Street North in Oshawa

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Simcoe Street North (Regional Road 2) in the City of Oshawa.
When: November 23 until December 18. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Simcoe Street North, 200 metres south of Beatrice Street, in Oshawa.
Why: Construction of watermains and sanitary sewer mains.

Whitby, Ontario - Durham Region Health Department wants to hear from area residents through participation in the Durham Region COVID-19 Health Survey, an online survey of residents to gather information about how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting their health. This survey is open to all Durham Region residents 18-years and older and can be accessed at durham.ca/covidsurvey.

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Tourism, and the Durham Region Joint Chambers of Commerce and Boards of Trade, have launched the new #ShopInDurham campaign with a special request for residents this holiday season: shop local.
The goal of the campaign is to spread the message that buying local will have a big impact for small businesses, while encouraging residents to shop local for their holiday gift-giving.
