Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham would like to assure residents that our water continues to be safe to drink despite possible earthy or musty odours detected recently. Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions and a weekend road closure on Salem Road (Regional Road 41) in the Town of Ajax.
When: On Friday, August 20, starting at 7 a.m., lane restrictions will begin, with the road closure starting at 6 p.m. The road closure will continue until 11 p.m. on Sunday, August 22. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Durham Region Roundtable on Climate Change is looking for youth citizen members

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is now accepting expressions of interest from youth aged 16 to 25 who wish to be considered for volunteer membership on the Durham Region Roundtable on Climate Change (DRRCC).
When: Expressions of interest must be submitted by August 27, 2021. A decision on the appointments will be made by Durham Regional Council on September 29, 2021.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham advises residents of lane shifting and restrictions on Bayly Street (Regional Road 22) in the City of Pickering.
When: August 16 to the end of September. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
