Help conserve water by practicing odd-even lawn watering this summer

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is reminding residents using our municipal water supply to practice odd-even lawn watering, from now until September, in an effort to conserve water.
Odd-even lawn watering means residents with an odd number home address should only water on odd calendar days, and vice versa—if your home address is an even number, then water only on even calendar days. Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham continues to seek feedback from the public on the Community Safety and Well-Being Plan (CSWP) with three upcoming virtual open houses. The CSWP is being developed in partnership with the Durham Regional Police Service and in collaboration with local area municipalities, community partners and the public. Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Brock Street East in the Township of Uxbridge.
When: June 14 to mid-August. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Brock Street East between Nelkydd Lane and 150 metres east of Nelkydd Lane, in the Township of Uxbridge.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Regional Road 17, in Newcastle, in the Municipality of Clarington.
When: June 14 to July 31, 2022. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
