Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Taunton Road East (Regional Road 4) in the Town of Whitby.
When: October 10 to November 3. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Westbound lane restrictions on Taunton Road East from Brock Street North (Regional Highway 12) to McKinney Drive, in Whitby.

Whitby, Ontario – In partnership with Public Safety Canada, Durham Region has opened applications for the Community Safety and Well-Being (CSWB) Fund: Building Safer Communities Grants program, to support small, not-for-profit organizations and community groups with violence prevention projects in Durham Region communities.
Applications to receive funding should be in alignment with, and further the goals and implementation of, the Durham Region CSWB Plan and the Durham Region Strategic Plan.
