Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region’s Black History Month celebration, Together We Rise Durham: Black History, Intersectionality and Joy, returns on February 1, in-person, at the Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex in Pickering.
The celebration will feature live performances; and a panel discussion on Black history and how intersectionality and Black joy have shaped their professional and personal lives.

Whitby, Ontario – Residents are invited to join Durham Region’s Chief Administrative Officer, Commissioner of Finance and Treasurer and other members of the Region’s senior leadership team, at the virtual 2024 Budget Town Hall.
When: Thursday, January 11 at 6:30 p.m.
