This project focuses on researching and compiling comprehensive information on business grants and funding opportunities available at municipal, provincial, and federal levels. The aim is to provide the business development team with a centralized resource/database to help define what funding and grant opportunities are available to support business growth, expansion, and development here in Durham Region. We also seek to solve the challenge of having critical information available to key stakeholders as part of seeing Invest Durham as a one-stop shop for investor information, while optimizing technology and creating unprecedented ease of access to the information.

Anticipated Outcome: A comprehensive database or resource repository containing detailed information on business grants and funding opportunities in Durham Region, Ontario, and Canada.
Increased awareness and accessibility of funding options for entrepreneurs, business owners, and SMEs.
Potential facilitation of economic growth and innovation through enhanced support for business.
Ultimately, the resource should be available electronically and/or in print form and be accessible through the Invest Durham website.
