Join the fun at Durham York Energy Centre to touch a truck and watch exciting equipment demonstrations, or try out our simulator at Duffin Creek Water Pollution Control Plant. It's a hands-on experience you don't want to miss! Tours of both facilities will also take place to showcase operations.

About Works
The Works Department provides numerous essential municipal services to residents and businesses within Durham. These services include the supply of drinking water, the collection and treatment of sewage, the design and maintenance of the Regional road network and solid waste management activities.
