Whitby, Ontario - May is National Lyme Disease Awareness Month and Durham Region Health Department is reminding everyone to take precautions against ticks when spending time outdoors.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, in co-operation with the City of Pickering, Town of Whitby, and townships of Scugog and Uxbridge, is rehabilitating Lake Ridge Road (Regional Road 23). As part of the construction, portions of Lake Ridge Road will be closed temporarily.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of a road closure on Pickering Beach Road in the Town of Ajax.
When: The closure is fromMay 23 until July. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
