Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham would like to remind Oshawa and Whitby residents of changes to the scheduled blue box collection due to the Family Day holiday on Monday, February 21.
When: February 21 to 25, 2022.
Where: Residents of the City of Oshawa and the Town of Whitby only will temporarily have their blue box collection moved to the next day.

Weight restrictions on Lake Ridge Road to improve traffic safety

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham has implemented a maximum weight restriction of 5,000 kilograms or five tonnes per axle for Lake Ridge Road (Regional Road 23) in the City of Pickering, Town of Whitby, and townships of Scugog and Uxbridge.
