Sandford Road, Concession Road 6 closures in Uxbridge

Whitby, Ontario –

The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents of upcoming road closures on Sandford Road (Regional Road 11) and Concession Road 6 in Uxbridge. Please note changes to the original dates due to poor weather conditions.

Fire at Durham York Energy Centre

Clarington Fire Officials were called to respond to a fire today at the Durham York Energy Centre (DYEC). The facility has been shut down as per the standard operating procedures. At this time waste deliveries have been put on hold until a damage assessment is complete.

Residents thanked for participating in durham.ca redevelopment survey and focus groups

The Regional Municipality of Durham would like to thank residents for participating in the recent durham.ca redevelopment survey and focus groups. The feedback received plays a very important role in the redevelopment of the new durham.ca, which is anticipated to be rolled out by the end of 2017.
