Reuse Days are back; first event scheduled for March 23

Whitby, Ontario – Whether you’re spring cleaning, Marie Kondo-ing, or simply looking to clear some space in your garage, Durham Region’s Works Department is accepting good-quality, reusable items at the first Reuse Day event of 2019. Items will be donated to Habitat for Humanity ReStores (Ajax, Oshawa and Uxbridge locations), Diabetes Canada and the Salvation Army Thrift Store.
When: March 23, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Reuse Days will continue monthly until October at rotating locations in Durham Region.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents of intermittent lane restrictions on Bloor Street East (Regional Road 22) in the City of Oshawa.
When: Intermittent daytime lane restrictions will occur from March 6 to 8 and from March 11 to 15. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
