Whitby, Ontario – Abilities Centre, in partnership with The Region of Durham, invites the business community, Durham Region employers, and those interested in exploring how to commit to inclusion in the workplace, to attend the Durham Accessibility Conference.

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region Health Department is encouraging parents and caregivers of school-aged children to book an optometrist appointment for their child for an eye examination and emphasizes the importance of eye examinations for all young children.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of changes to the scheduled curbside waste collection due to the upcoming Easter holidays.
When and where: Ajax, Brock, Clarington, Oshawa, Pickering, Scugog, Uxbridge and Whitby.
Residents that normally receive waste collection on Fridays are reminded that due to Good Friday, waste will instead be collected on Saturday, March 30.
