Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham would like to advise residents and businesses that water conservation measures will be in effect for municipal water supply users in Beaverton while staff inspect and clean the Beaverton Standpipe (water storage facility).
When: Now until June 5. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham Council has taken the next step towards developing a new Mixed Waste Pre-Sort and Anaerobic Digestion (AD) facility in Durham.
Yesterday, Council gave approval to continue negotiation of a joint venture/co-ownership agreement with Epcor Utilities Inc. for the development of the Region’s Mixed Waste Pre-Sort and AD facility.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham advises residents of water service disruptions and low water pressure due to a watermain break on Adelaide Avenue East (Regional Road 58) in the City of Oshawa.
When: May 26 until repairs are completed.
Where: Adelaide Avenue East in the area of Wilson Road North (Regional Road 35) in Oshawa.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham advises residents of lane restrictions on Thornton Road South (Regional Road 52) in the City of Oshawa.
When: Ongoing June 30. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
