Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham advises residents of a short duration, temporary road closure at the intersection of Olive Avenue (Regional Road 59) and Grandview Street South in the City of Oshawa.
When: May 21, for a few hours between 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Intersection of Olive Avenue and Grandview Street South.

Whitby, Ontario – From May 17 to 23, Durham Region will be celebrating National Public Works Week by recognizing the essential services of public works and the Region’s Works Department.
This year, Durham Region will be encouraging residents to learn more about the role that public works plays in their day-to-day lives through virtual tours of Regional facilities and videos of public works staff in action by visiting durham.ca/NPWW.
