In celebration of Imagine a Day Without Water, the Region has launched a drawing challenge open to Durham residents 18 years of age and under. Draw or paint a picture of what water means to you and your family.
If your drawing is one of the several chosen, your creation may be featured in the Spring 2020 issue of Durham Works, on our website, or in Regional Water reports! Select entries will also receive a copy of the book Why Water’s Worth It.
Challenge entry ends Sunday, December 1.

Whitby, Ontario – Eligible residents can receive money for their child’s education after high school through the Canada Learning Bond. Whitby, Ontario – Family Services Durham, a division of the Region of Durham’s Social Services Department, is hosting a Prompt Access to Single Session (PASS) Case Management event where adults (18 years of age or older) with a developmental disability and/or their caregivers can speak directly with an experienced and knowledgeable case manager.
