Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents of lane restrictions near the intersection of Dundas Street (Regional Highway 2) and Jeffery Street, in the Town of Whitby.
When: Ongoing until further notice. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: The intersection of Dundas Street and Jeffery Street, in Whitby.
Why: To repair a broken watermain.

Whitby, Ontario – The Region is celebrating Adult Day Program (ADP) Awareness Week from October 21 to 25. If you are a caregiver of an adult living with a cognitive impairment, including Alzheimer's disease and similar conditions, the Region of Durham offers three ADPs through Hillsdale Estates and Lakeview Manor (Beaverton and Port Perry sites). These programs provide supervised therapeutic, social and recreational programming in a safe setting.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents of lane restrictions on a portion of Bowmanville Avenue (Regional Road 57) in Clarington.
When: October 15 to November 15. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
