Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham would like to advise residents that John Henry has officially been declared elected to the Office of Regional Chair. Henry will be sworn in during the inaugural council meeting of the 2018 to 2022 term, which is scheduled for December 5 at 10 a.m. at Regional Headquarters.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents of lane restrictions on Bayly Street (Regional Road 22) in Pickering, as Canadian National Railway Company (CN) completes track repairs at the rail crossing.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham would like to remind municipal election candidates that in accordance with the Region’s Temporary Sign By-law No. 76-2017, all signs must be removed within 48 hours following the election (by the evening of Wednesday, October 24).
