Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Anderson Street (Regional Road 36), from Crawforth Street to Dundas Street East, in the Town of Whitby.
When: July 18 to September 30. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Anderson Street, from Crawforth Street to Dundas Street East, in Whitby.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents and businesses in Beaverton, in the Township of Brock, of mandatory water restrictions. Residents and businesses are required to discontinue all non-essential indoor and outdoor water use during this time.

Whitby, Ontario - The following represents beach-posting information for Durham Region beaches. Test results for the week of June 27 indicate that four beach have been posted as unsafe for swimming due to elevated bacteria levels. Beaches are posted as unsafe for swimming when elevated levels of E. coli exceed the provincial standard of 200 E. coli per 100 ml of water.
