Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham would like to notify residents that all incoming and outgoing mail will be affected, in the event of a labour disruption involving Canada Post.
When: According to Canada Post, a potential service disruption could occur as early as Wednesday, September 26.
Where: A service disruption would affect all incoming and outgoing mail.

Whitby, Ontario – Yesterday, the Durham Agricultural Advisory Committee (DAAC) successfully hosted its 16th annual farm tour at Reesor Elevators in Port Perry. The theme was “Harvesting the sun in Durham Region,” and covered a variety of topics including: crop production; different types of crops produced locally; farm equipment; handling, storage and processing; marketing; and end use consumer products.

Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham, Social Services Department, Long-Term Care and Services for Seniors Division was honoured at Durham Regional Council today for earning an Accreditation Canada award with Exemplary Standing.
