On March 27, Durham Regional Council will hold a public meeting, pursuant to Section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997, to present the proposed Area Specific Development Charges By-law, as well as the related underlying background study. It is also an opportunity for the public to provide input on the proposed by-law and study regarding water supply and sanitary sewerage services in the Seaton Community in the City of Pickering.

Whitby, Ontario – Electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are becoming more commonplace throughout Durham Region. Today’s announcement of $2.4 million in federal funding from Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) will enable the installation of 259 new EV charging stations across Durham Region. Upcoming road closure and lane restrictions on Lambs Road in Clarington

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of an upcoming road closure and lane restrictions on Lambs Road in the Municipality of Clarington.
When: From March 11 to April 5, Lambs Road will be closed. After April 5, intermittent lane restrictions will be required until August 15. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
