Whitby, Ontario – The following statement is being issued on behalf of The Regional Municipality of Durham:
“On October 1, Durham staff identified a security breach affecting a limited component of the digital systems at the Duffin Creek Water Pollution Control Plant. Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents that the Oshawa and Brock waste management facilities (WMF) will be temporarily closed to the public to accommodate the installation of new scales.
When and Where:
- Oshawa WMF (1640 Ritson Road North in Oshawa) – closed from October 19 to 24, reopening on October 25 at 8 a.m.
- Brock WMF (C22480 Brock Sideroad #17 in Brock) – closed from October 31 to November 4, reopening on November 5 at 8 a.m.
