Whitby, Ontario - The following represents beach-posting information for Durham Region beaches. Test results for the week of June 27 indicate that four beach have been posted as unsafe for swimming due to elevated bacteria levels. Beaches are posted as unsafe for swimming when elevated levels of E. coli exceed the provincial standard of 200 E. coli per 100 ml of water.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of road closures on Harmony Road North (Regional Road 33) in the City of Oshawa.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of periodic lane restrictions on Thickson Road South and a road closure on Burns Street East in the Town of Whitby.
