Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Bigelow Street, Beech Street, Kellett Street and Kent Street in Port Perry.
When: September 20 to December 2021. Construction progress and unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of intermittent lane shifting on Scugog Street (Highway 7A) in the community of Port Perry in the Township of Scugog.

Area residents living near nuclear generating stations reminded to have KI tablets available

Whitby, Ontario - Durham Region Health Department is encouraging all residents living within 10 kilometres of the Pickering or Darlington nuclear generating stations to have a supply of potassium iodide (KI) tablets in their households. This recommendation is also aimed at pregnant and breastfeeding women, and parents of infants, children and adolescents, as KI is both safe and most effective for these individuals.
