Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is moving forward with the Oshawa Micro-Housing Pilot Project, a 10-unit micro-home community in central Oshawa.
With occupancy projected for fall 2021, the Oshawa Micro-Housing Pilot Project includes 10 micro-home units that will offer temporary transitional housing, with various supports. Licensed child care workers across Durham Region are now also eligible
Whitby, Ontario - As announced by the province earlier today, Durham Region Health Department has now expanded eligibility for area hot spot postal code residents to those 45 and older, or those who will be turning 45 in 2021 to receive COVID-19 vaccine at designated community mass immunization clinics. Lane restrictions on Bloor Street in Clarington

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Bloor Street (Regional Road 22) in the community of Courtice in the Municipality of Clarington.
When: Daytime only on May 13. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Bloor Street (Regional Road 22), from Townline Road South to Prestonvale Road, in Courtice.
Why: Lane restrictions will be in place to safely complete a soils investigation for a future watermain.
