Whitby, Ontario – The Province of Ontario has announced a province-wide shutdown beginning Saturday, December 26.
When: New restrictions go into effecton Saturday, December 26 at 12:01 a.m. and will last for 28 days before a reevaluation.
Where: Province-wide, includingall eight municipalities in Durham Region.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham would like to remind residents of changes to curbside blue box, green bin and garbage collection during the holidays.
When and where: Across Durham Region, curbside waste collection scheduled for Friday, December 25, 2020 (Christmas Day) will be moved to the next day Saturday, December 26, 2020 (Boxing Day).
