Whitby, Ontario – In support of Durham Vision Zero, the Region of Durham will be implementing leading pedestrian intervals, pedestrian countdown signals and ladder crosswalk line markings at two intersections on Ritson Road (Regional Road 16) in Oshawa.
When: Week of August 24. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: The intersection of Simcoe Street (Regional Road 2) and Ritson Road, and the intersection of Ritson Road and Coldstream Drive, in the City of Oshawa.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of a temporary road closure on Simcoe Street (Regional Road 2) in the City of Oshawa.
When: August 21 at 9 p.m. to August 23 at 9 p.m. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Simcoe Street, from the Campus Ice Centre to Conlin Road, in the City of Oshawa.
Why: To safely complete the installation of a sanitary force main crossing in a safe and efficient manner.

Whitby, Ontario – Durham residents are invited to provide input on the Regional Cycling Plan (RCP) update and offer suggestions about how to improve cycling in the region. Residents can provide feedback through an online survey or by attending a local pop-up event.
