Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham and Durham Regional Council are committed to ensuring that people of all ages and abilities enjoy the same opportunities in our region. On September 30, Durham Regional Council passed the Accessibility Report for 2019. New support hub in Cannington for residents in need

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham has teamed up with community partners to open a support hub for local tenants, homeless residents and those at risk of homelessness in north Durham.
When: The hub will be open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome.

Whitby, Ontario – Yesterday, for the first time since the formation of Durham Region in 1974, Regional Council approved a comprehensive set of recommendations to prioritize numerous high-value water and sewer infrastructure projects designed to increase the Region’s supply of market-ready employment lands.
