Lane restrictions on Champlain Avenue in Oshawa

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of eastbound and westbound lane restrictions on Champlain Avenue (Regional Road 25) in the City of Oshawa.
When: July 27 to 31 (daytime only). Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Champlain Avenue, from 150m west of Fox Street to Fox Street, in the City of Oshawa.
Why: To safely install water service and storm sewers in support of a new development.

Blue Maple Sewage Pumping Station in Ajax, Night Work

The Regional Municipality of Durham will be performing maintenance at the Blue Maple Sewage Pumping Station, located at 41 Mayor Crescent in Ajax, on Wednesday, July 22. The station will be shut down for approximately five hours, beginning at approximately 11 p.m.
The Region’s contractor, W.A. Stephenson, must perform the maintenance work at night when our sewage flows are at their lowest. During the work, crews may need to perform bypass pumping, requiring a diesel pump and trucks to be on site...

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of a north and southbound road closure on Townline Road North (Regional Road 55) in the City of Oshawa.
When: July 27 to 31 (day and night work). Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Townline Road North, from Pebblestone Road to Maddock Drive, in the City of Oshawa.
Why: To safely install water and sanitary service.
