Whitby, Ontario - Durham Region Health Department wants to hear from area residents through participation in the Durham Region COVID-19 Health Survey, an online survey of residents to gather information about how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting their health. Whitby, Ontario – Durham Tourism, and the Durham Region Joint Chambers of Commerce and Boards of Trade, have launched the new #ShopInDurham campaign with a special request for residents this holiday season: shop local.
The goal of the campaign is to spread the message that buying local will have a big impact for small businesses, while encouraging residents to shop local for their holiday gift-giving.
