Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham would like to remind eligible voters that the Office of Regional Chair will be a position on the ballots during the 2018 municipal elections.

Blue box recycling collection schedule changes due to Thanksgiving

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to remind residents of changes to scheduled curbside blue box collection due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
When: October 8 to 13.

Gamebridge Bridge in Brock/Ramara to be closed until next summer

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham Works Department, in partnership with the County of Simcoe, will be replacing the Gamebridge Bridge over the Talbot River.
When: The bridge will be closed on Tuesday, October 9 until the end of summer 2019. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: The Gamebridge Bridge over the Talbot River on Regional Road 51/Ramara Road 51 in Brock Township and Ramara.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is now accepting applications from residents who would like to serve as a community member on the Durham Regional Police Services Board (DRPSB). The term of this appointment is four years and coincides with the term of Regional Council.
