Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of an upcoming road closure on Marnie Drive in the Municipality of Clarington’s community of Courtice.
When: June 3 to August 2. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Marnie Drive, from Baseline Road to Cigas Road, in Clarington. Cigas Road will be accessible from Trulls Road and detour signs will be posted prior to construction.
Why: To safely install a new watermain.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of an upcoming road closure at the intersection of Bowmanville Avenue and King Street in the community of Bowmanville, in the Municipality of Clarington.
Where: Bowmanville Avenue (Regional Road 57) between King Street (Regional Highway 2) and Stevens Road, in Bowmanville.
When: May 31 at 7 p.m. to June 2 at 5 p.m. Unfavorable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Region of Durham long-term care homes to host Annual Car Show

Whitby, Ontario – Region of Durham long-term care homes Hillsdale Estates and Hillsdale Terraces are hosting The Annual Car Show on June 8. All are welcome to attend, and admission is free.
What: The Annual Car Show event will feature a car show, live music by the Pepper Shakers band and various vendors.
When: Saturday, June 8 from 1 to 3 p.m. This event is weather permitting and will be cancelled in the event of rain.
