Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents and businesses that Wilson Road North is closed between Bond Street and Adelaide Avenue due to a watermain break.
When: Repair work is ongoing and will be completed as soon as possible.
Where: Wilson Road North is closed between Bond Street and Adelaide Avenue, in the City of Oshawa.
Why: To repair a broken watermain.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents that due to inclement weather, garbage, blue bin and green bin collection in Brock Township is being suspended until tomorrow.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department is reminding residents to be mindful of fire hazards in household waste. Heat sources can start fires when waste is stored, collected, transported, sorted and processed.
Why: Please be cautious when disposing of the following items:
- Ash from barbecue grills, smokers or fireplaces: Ensure ash is cold, completely extensioninguished and securely bagged in a 100 per cent compostable liner bag before disposing of it in the green bin.
