Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham is undertaking a Growth Management Study as part of Envision Durham, the Municipal Comprehensive Review of the Regional Official Plan. The first Phase of the Growth Management Study is focused on the preparation of a Land Needs Assessment.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents that regional Waste Management Facilities (WMF), the Household Special Waste Depot and the Waste Management Centre will be closed in observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham’s Sign Recycling Program provides election candidates the opportunity to recycle dedicated loads of corrugated plastic signs, free of charge following the election. Signs may be dropped off at Durham’s three waste management facilities; find one near you at durham.ca/WMF.
